In 2017, he strategically moved to Chile and joined Roche Chile. Over the past seven years, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills as an SHE Officer and Facilities Manager. Currently, he is leading the sustainability initiatives at this critical biotechnology company in Chile.

Nelson is a dedicated professional and an advocate for social causes. His love for travel and cultural exploration is matched only by his unwavering commitment to supporting needy communities. His dedication to cultural understanding and social justice is a driving force that inspires others to embrace diversity and work toward meaningful change.

Nelson started taking EF adult student classes with Kristina, an EF Teacher and founder of Kids Share Workshops, which quickly led to positive synergy. Their shared interest in social responsibility sparked engaging discussions during lessons, which also helped Nelson improve his English grammar skills. This collaboration quickly evolved into a plan to create a Kids Share Chile workshop in Santiago, with the support of Roche Chile, at Escuela Platon, a school that Roche Pharma Chile had been supporting with its educational needs. Their teamwork and shared vision led to the workshop’s successful creation and served as a powerful example of the impact of collaboration in making a positive change through team building.
